A live update on the G20 Summit 2023: Joe Biden departs for Delhi to discuss GE jet engines with Prime Minister Modi

On Thursday, National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan told reporters that the White House anticipates substantive advancements on GE jet engines and civil nuclear technology in upcoming bilateral meetings between American President Joe Biden and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

General Electric’s (GE.N) aerospace division announced earlier this year that it had agreed with Hindustan Aeronautics, a state-owned company in India, to jointly produce engines in India to power fighter jets for the Indian Air Force.
