The 2024 Kia Sorento facelift has been unveiled, with updates on both the inside and outside

The 2024 Kia Sorento has extensive exterior and interior upgrades and has two powertrain options.

Kia debuted the 2024 Sorento at the Los Angeles Auto Show before its American debut early in the following year. It receives numerous internal and external updates and has two different power plant options. The front fascia and the rear profile have been revised to reflect the newest Opposites United design philosophy.

With freshly styled vertical headlamps and a more comprehensive skid plate, the 2024 Kia Sorento has a more noticeable grille portion and a more formidable look. The Daytime Running Lights are also new, and the freshly styled alloy wheels enhance their overall appearance. The US-spec Kia Sorento features design traits comparable to its Korean brother, and the rear end now gets integrated LED tail lamps.

The rear bumper has also been altered to provide a more modern look, and two new color schemes—Dawning Red and Midnight Lake Blue—have been added. The reworked switchgear and freshly styled dash give the facelifted Kia Sorento a more upscale interior. The new operating system for the 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system is said to be quicker and provide OTA updates.

In addition, a unique panoramic curving display houses both the instrument console and a 12.3-inch digital display. An improved Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Following Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Smart Cruise Control system with Machine Learning, Highway Driving Assist 2, and other features are included in the equipment list.

The 2024 Kia Sorento has an X-Pro trim level with several X-Line grade exterior upgrades, a glossy black front grille, a center locking differential, and 17-inch alloy wheels covered in BF Goodrich all-terrain rubber. The well-known 2.5L four-cylinder NA and turbo engines provide the performance.

While the turbocharged version produces 285 PS and 421 Nm, the normally aspirated mill produces 194 PS and 245 Nm. With the option of an AWD system, an eight-speed AT or eight-speed DCT can be selected. In the near future, the Sorento’s HEV and PHEV versions will receive comparable design upgrades.
