Vaibhav Kumar Srivastava Takes the Helm of Education & Edtech at Google Cloud India
Vaibhav Kumar Srivastava has been promoted to the prestigious position of Head of Education & Edtech Business at Google Cloud India. In his new role, Srivastava will lead initiatives to drive growth and expand market share for Google Cloud in the education sector across India and the SAARC region.
With over 20 years of experience spanning education, edtech, and public sector sales, Srivastava is uniquely positioned to lead transformative initiatives like the “Digital Campus on Google Cloud” program. This initiative is aimed at enabling educational institutions to accelerate their digital transformation journey.
Before joining Google Cloud, Srivastava served as Channel Director for Education at Microsoft, where he managed strategy, execution, and growth for the education sector in India. He also played a pivotal role in mentoring early-stage edtech startups at T-Hub, providing guidance in areas like strategy development, go-to-market execution, and sales acceleration.
In his new capacity, Srivastava’s priorities will include scaling the adoption of Google Cloud and Google Workspace products within the education ecosystem. His expertise in sales leadership, technology adoption, and strategic partnerships will support educational institutions and edtech companies in leveraging cloud technology to enhance learning experiences and foster innovation.
