Kristie Holmes joins Community First Bank as Chief People Officer, bringing extensive HR leadership experience across banking, tech, and consumer sectors.
Sydney, Australia, February 2026 — Kristie Holmes has been appointed Chief People Officer at Community First Bank, bringing a broad portfolio of human resources leadership across financial services, consumer brands, and technology.
Before joining Community First Bank, Holmes served as Regional Chief People Officer – ANZ at Europ Assistance Australia and New Zealand, where she led people strategy across Australia and New Zealand. Earlier, she was Head of HR APAC at BRP, sitting on the executive team and driving diversity, inclusion, and large-scale HR transformation across the Asia-Pacific region.
Her career also includes senior HR leadership roles at Dyson and Next, focused on strengthening organizational capability, leadership coaching, and aligning people strategy with commercial outcomes. Holmes spent several years within the Westpac ecosystem, holding HR and leadership roles at Westpac Group and St George Bank, supporting large retail teams and regional branch networks. Her early career includes roles at BT Financial Group and Telstra.
In her new role, Holmes will lead the people and culture agenda at Community First Bank, supporting its member-owned model and reinforcing its commitment to high service standards, fair fees, and community-focused banking solutions.
