Revrag, a startup based in India, has revealed that it has raised $600,000 in its first round of funding. The startup’s first product, an AI-BDR (Business Development Representative), is scheduled for release shortly. The AI agents are being built specifically for revenue teams.
The AI agent will plan meetings, qualify leads intelligently, automate prospecting and outreach at scale, and deliver data-driven insights for better decision-making.
The company claims that Emma, their first AI agent, will bring about a significant change in the way the sales sector develops in light of contemporary technology.
Even though Revrag intends to explore a wide range of new ground, they are now concentrating on vital business functions like marketing and sales.
Leading the pre-seed round of fundraising was Powerhouse Ventures, with involvement from prominent investors such as Cred founder Kunal Shah, Rhythms founder Deepak Anchala, and co-founder of 6Sense Viral Bajaria, along with twenty other prominent angel investors.
Strongholds in the industry, such as the founders and top executives of Slintel and 6Sense, support Revrag as well.
“We are developing clever AI agents at Revrag to assist revenue teams in automating their repetitive tasks so they can concentrate on more crucial tasks. For instance, our AI-BDR can efficiently handle the first outreach to prospects and setting up meetings, freeing up human sellers to concentrate more on client contacts and other intricate aspects of the sales process, according to Revrag CEO and co-founder Ashutosh Singh.
