Palak Mittal, a BTech scholar from the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Allahabad, shattered conventional expectations by securing an extraordinary contract worth over Rs 1 crore from Amazon, thus deviating from the norm.
Mittal commenced her journey with Amazon’s Berlin division in August 2022, where she holds the position of a Software Developer specializing in Amazon Web Services (AWS), according to information found on her LinkedIn profile. Presently, she is associated with PhonePe, serving at their Bengaluru location.
Her resume narrates the story of a proficient software developer well-versed in serverless technologies, adept at creating infrastructure as code. Her credentials reflect her familiarity with a range of cloud computing platforms and programming languages, including AWS Lambda, AWS S3, AWS Cloudwatch, Typescript, Java, and SQL. Additionally, she showcases remarkable abilities in managing complete project ownership, constructing software modules, and executing data modeling and analysis for intricate challenges.
Palak Mittal’s accomplishments go beyond her individual success, transcending to her peers at IIIT Allahabad. Among them, Anurag secured an impressive package of Rs 1.25 crore at Amazon, while Akhil Singh sealed a commendable deal of Rs 1.2 crore with Rubrik.
Hailing from Nashik, Anurag Makade currently holds the role of a Frontend Engineer at Amazon, the world’s largest online retailer, stationed in Dublin, Ireland. He triumphantly shared his achievement on social media, announcing, “Hello everyone, I am thrilled to announce my new role as a Frontend Engineer at Amazon!”
Before joining Amazon, Anurag gained expertise as a software developer at Cure-fit in Bengaluru. He also served as an analyst intern at American Express in Gurugram, starting from September 2022.
The collective efforts of these three IIIT graduates are not only setting unprecedented benchmarks for Indian tech talent on a global scale but are also causing significant waves within the global tech landscape.
