Carly Buchanan joins GreenWay Bank as SVP, Chief People Officer, strengthening HR strategy and people-first culture in Ohio.

Carly Buchanan has been appointed Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer at GreenWay Bank, strengthening the bank’s focus on cultivating a people-centered culture as it continues its growth trajectory.
With more than 18 years of experience in human resources, leadership, and organizational development, Buchanan will oversee HR operations and lead strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement, professional growth, and long-term organizational development.
Before joining GreenWay Bank, she led HR functions at Farmers & Merchants State Bank and Brooks Construction Company, bringing cross-industry expertise and a workforce strategy rooted in a people-first philosophy.
Buchanan is also deeply engaged in community and professional leadership. She recently served as President of the Northeast Indiana Human Resources Association, guiding a 600-member SHRM chapter. Her community involvement extends to the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne, as well as organizations such as Greater Fort Wayne Inc., Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana, Fort Wayne Community Schools, and the Aboite Girls Basketball League.
