The only VR headgear to win a prize at the CES 2024 Innovation Awards is the Pimax Crystal.
Being the only VR headset recognized this way, the Pimax Crystal was named an Honoree in the “XR Technologies & Accessories” category of the CES 2024 Innovation Awards. Not only is the Pimax Crystal the only headset in the XR category that can be bought, but it’s also the only one that’s now discounted on Black Friday.
The first VR headset ever made with glass optics
Currently, the Pimax Crystal provides the best clarity available for consumer VR. Its ultra-high fidelity QLED screens, which have a native resolution of 2880 x 2880 pixels per eye (not upscaled even at 120Hz), are partially responsible for this accomplishment. It is also the world’s first and only VR headset with glass aspheric lenses. The headset is appropriately called the “Crystal” because of these optics.
Pimax has created a cutting-edge optical system for virtual reality, combining multi-parametric optimization with the unique qualities of the QLED+miniLED display screen. Specialized optical techniques that rectify distortion and suppress stray light improve this system. Together, these design features optimize the aspheric lens’s inherent resolution power and fully utilize the optical-grade glass material’s ultra-high light transmittance to guarantee that the final visual output provides a fantastic viewing experience with sharp, high-brightness, contrasts, and edge-to-edge clarity.
CES 2024 demo
The Pimax Crystal will be on show and demo-able for all CES 2024 attendees (#15454). It will also be displayed at the Venetian Expo’s official Innovation Awards Showcase in Hall D, Booth #56332. Visitors can test out a range of demos and learn why the Pimax Crystal is the top choice for consumer VR clarity among VR enthusiasts worldwide.
