Over the past year, it appears that tech and entertainment companies have maintained an advantage in keeping their employees happy, with company culture remaining a crucial factor.
Comparably, a website that compiles job listings and company culture information, has released its annual ranking of companies with the best long-term prospects based on employee feedback received between February 2022 and February 2023.
According to Comparably, tens of thousands of employees anonymously provided ratings of their employers, contributing to the rankings.
One employee of Chewy, which was ranked as the top large company last year, stated in their response, “I appreciate our leadership and their ability to navigate the macroeconomic conditions and maintain a strong outlook for the company.
While the rankings may vary slightly from year to year, many of the largest companies consistently maintain their popularity among employees.
Adobe, Google, HubSpot, and Microsoft have all been ranked among the top 50 largest companies with the best outlook since the inaugural rankings were released six years ago.
In this year’s survey, Topgolf saw the greatest improvement in employee sentiment, moving up from 24th place last year to 5th place. Chewy and ADP also saw notable increases, moving from 12th to 1st place and from 8th to 2nd place, respectively.
An ADP employee expressed their positivity toward the company’s future, stating, “I believe it’s an excellent place to advance in my career and have a favorable outlook about our future.
