Edelman appoints Anna Vogt as Global Chief Strategy Officer to lead global strategy, earned-first brand building, and AI-driven effectiveness.
Edelman has appointed Anna Vogt as Global Chief Strategy Officer, reinforcing the firm’s focus on earned-first brand building, cultural relevance, and data-driven effectiveness. In her new role, Vogt will report to Tristan Roy, President, Integrated Solutions & Delivery.
Vogt will lead Edelman’s global strategy community, working closely with strategists, creatives, and client leaders across the network to strengthen the firm’s strategic offerings and develop culturally resonant platforms that deliver measurable business outcomes. She will also advance Edelman’s Earned Flywheel framework and expand the use of data and AI-powered intelligence tools, including TrustStream, the firm’s proprietary LLM-based trust analysis system.
A globally experienced strategist, Vogt joins Edelman from VML, where she currently serves as EMEA Chief Strategy Officer, overseeing strategic output across the region. Her career spans senior leadership roles at BBH, MullenLowe, and TBWA London, following her start as a WPP Fellow. She has worked with leading global brands including Unilever (Persil/OMO), Nestlé (KitKat), British Airways, Adidas, Dulux, and Dubai Tourism.
Vogt has played a key role in shaping some of the industry’s most awarded strategic and creative work, earning honors such as a Cannes Lions Grand Prix, Gold IPA Effectiveness Award, and UK Effie Grand Prix. She also co-led research that informed the creation of the Cannes Lions Creative Strategy Council and the Creative Strategy Lions category.
Commenting on the appointment, Vogt said she looks forward to contributing at a pivotal moment for Edelman, with a focus on strengthening brand trust, earned creativity, and sustainable growth for clients.
The appointment comes as Edelman continues to gain global recognition for strategic and creative excellence, including strong performances at the WARC Effectiveness Awards, IPA Effectiveness Awards, and Cannes Lions 2025.
