Today, the consulting firm EY announced the opening of its EY.ai artificial intelligence platform. The platform is supported by a $1.4 billion investment component of EY’s more extensive, three-year, $10 billion enterprise investment strategy, unveiled in 2021.
The launch of EY.ai coincides with the announcement of significant investments by other essential IT service industry participants to advance their artificial intelligence skills.
The company claims that modern EY technology platforms and AI capabilities are included in EY.ai. It combines experience in risk, assurance, strategy, transactions, transformation, and tax, all enhanced by a robust AI ecosystem.
With the help of these investments, AI has been included in proprietary EY technologies like EY Fabric, which is used by 60,000 EY clients and more than 1.5 million different users. Several EY technology acquisitions that enable cloud and automation technologies have also been made possible thanks to the investments.
The chairman and CEO of EY, Carmine Di Sibio, declared that “AI’s time has come. Its adoption goes beyond simple technological difficulties. Teams at EY are assisting clients in harnessing AI’s revolutionary potential across the business. It’s about responsibly creating new economic value to take advantage of the enormous potential of this technology development.
This trend is especially pertinent to EY’s activities in India, where the company employs 30,000 people, half of whom work in the global delivery center and are experts in technology consulting.
EY has started a pilot program with 4,200 team members who are particularly interested in technology as part of its focus on the growth of its employees. The company intends to publish EY.ai EYQ, a safe and substantial language model. EY will also roll out customized AI learning and development courses.
The EY learning program intends to improve the workforce’s AI skills, including ethical AI use. The EY Tech Master of Business Administration program, announced in 2020, and the extensive AI, data, and analytics learning badge curriculum, released in 2018 and has granted over 100,000 credentials, are both built upon this effort.
