Flex Beverages appoints former Keurig President Michelle Stacy as Board Chair to drive growth with its innovative zero-electricity beverage system.
Blended BioHealth, Inc., the parent company of Flex Beverages, has announced the appointment of Michelle Stacy, former president of Keurig, as its non-executive board chair. The Florida-based company made the announcement on March 26, 2024.
Stacy, who led Keurig Green Mountain, Inc. (now Keurig Dr Pepper, Nasdaq: KDP) from 2008 to 2014, brings extensive experience in scaling disruptive consumer brands. Under her leadership, Keurig’s single-serve coffee system expanded from 2 million to over 16 million households, driving the company’s revenue growth from $493 million in 2008 to $4.4 billion in 2013.
“Michelle played a pivotal role in shaping one of the most successful beverage platforms of our time. Her expertise in driving recurring revenue opportunities will be invaluable as we scale Flex Beverages,” said Peter N. Christos, CEO of Flex Beverages.
Flex Beverages, launched in April 2024, is revolutionizing on-the-go beverage consumption with its zero-electricity single-serve system. The company offers a drink can ($69) and 30-piece beverage pod kits ($39), catering to both hot and cold beverage preferences, including coffee and tea.
Expressing her enthusiasm, Stacy stated, “Flex is poised to transform the way people consume beverages on the go.”
In her new role, Stacy will guide the company’s strategic growth, focusing on scaling operations and expanding market reach. She has an impressive track record in consumer brands, having previously held leadership positions at Gillette and Procter & Gamble. She also serves on the boards of iRobot Corp. and Skullcandy.
Flex Beverages has attracted high-profile investors, including professional golfer Scott Piercy and comedian Gary Owen, as it continues its expansion.
