Guy Emmerson joins Amazon as Tech Talent Acquisition Leader, driving large-scale tech hiring across Amazon Stores in the UK and EMEA.
London Area, United Kingdom – February 2026 — Guy Emmerson has taken on a new role as Tech Talent Acquisition Leader at Amazon, where he will spearhead technology hiring initiatives across Amazon Stores. In this position, he will drive large-scale recruitment strategies and oversee strategic talent acquisition programs supporting Amazon’s expanding technology teams.
Emmerson brings extensive leadership experience within Amazon. Most recently, he served as Non-Tech Talent Acquisition Leader, guiding multiple teams across Europe in support of Amazon’s consumer businesses. Previously, as Talent Acquisition Leader for EMEA and MENA, he led a team of more than 85 talent acquisition specialists hiring across 26 countries. He also managed large recruitment organizations focused on sellers and vendors across EMEA, overseeing over 70 recruiters responsible for corporate hiring across diverse functional functions.
Before joining Amazon, Emmerson held senior executive positions at Badenoch + Clark, part of the Adecco Group, where he served as Senior Vice President and Managing Director, leading private sector operations across the UK. He also worked as Managing Director at Brightpool, heading a specialist consultancy placing middle management professionals across domestic and international markets.
Earlier in his career, Emmerson gained foundational experience in financial services and professional training through roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers and KPMG, working in audit and training coordination.
