After Susan Wojcicki declared her resignation as CEO of YouTube, Neal Mohan was appointed SVP and the new CEO of the platform.

She said that Neal Mohan, an Indian-American who now serves as YouTube’s chief product officer, will assume that position.

She joined the parent business Alphabet Inc. some 25 years ago and was one of Google’s first workers. Wojcicki formerly held positions at Intel Corp. and Bain & Company.

Neal graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Science and the Stanford Graduate School of Business with an MBA. He has been YouTube’s Chief Product Officer for more than seven years and has previously held positions with organizations like Accenture and Microsoft.
