James Damico joins Johnson Brothers as CFO, bringing 20+ years of finance leadership experience from Kellanova, Kellogg, and General Motors.
St. Paul, Minnesota, United States – May 2026: James Damico has been named Chief Financial Officer at Johnson Brothers, where he will lead financial strategy, enhance operational performance, and support the company’s continued expansion across the United States.
Damico brings more than two decades of global finance leadership experience in the consumer packaged goods sector. He joins from Kellanova, where he served as Chief Financial Officer Europe and VP Finance, overseeing complex financial operations across European markets and driving performance across multiple business units.
Prior to this, he spent nearly 20 years with Kellogg Company, holding several senior leadership roles including CFO Europe Cereal & Snacks, CFO of UK, ROI, and High-Growth Markets, and Financial Controller Kellogg Europe. During his tenure, he played a key role in strengthening financial performance, improving forecasting accuracy, and enabling business growth across regions.
His experience also spans logistics finance, strategic planning, and innovation finance, where he led large teams, optimized costs, and implemented data-driven financial strategies to elevate finance as a core business partner.
Earlier in his career, Damico worked at General Motors, building a strong foundation in finance and operations. He holds an MBA and a Master of Science in Finance from Indiana University Bloomington.
