Lyon, France – June 2026: Jeff George has been appointed Chairman of ENYO Pharma, reinforcing the company’s leadership as it advances its clinical-stage kidney disease programs and enters a new phase of growth.
George brings decades of global leadership experience spanning biopharmaceuticals, healthcare investing, life sciences, and corporate governance. His appointment is expected to support ENYO Pharma’s strategic development as it progresses key therapeutic candidates and expands its clinical and operational capabilities.
In addition to his new role, George is the Managing Partner of Maytal Capital, a healthcare-focused private equity and venture capital firm he founded in 2017. Through the firm, he has led investments across biotechnology, medical devices, healthcare technology, and consumer health sectors.
George also serves as Chairman of LENZ Therapeutics and holds board leadership positions with several healthcare organizations, including Amneal Pharmaceuticals. He is widely recognized for helping companies scale operations, commercialize products, and execute growth strategies.
Prior to his investment career, George held senior executive positions at Novartis, serving as CEO and Division Head of both Alcon and Sandoz. During his tenure, he oversaw global healthcare operations across more than 160 countries and played a key role in expanding innovation pipelines, strengthening biosimilars capabilities, and driving enterprise growth.
Earlier in his career, he held leadership and advisory roles with Gap Inc., McKinsey & Company, and Deloitte, building expertise in strategy, operations, business development, and organizational transformation.
