Reliance Jio is advancing its cloud computing capabilities with the introduction of the Jio AI-Cloud Welcome Offer. Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Jio Platforms, unveiled this new initiative at the company’s 47th Annual General Meeting (AGM), where he also introduced the JioPhoneCall AI and JioTV OS.
Under the Jio AI-Cloud Welcome Offer, users will be granted up to 100 GB of complimentary cloud storage. This offering enables users to securely manage and access their digital content, including photos, videos, and documents. This move underscores Jio’s dedication to delivering fast, secure, and cost-effective cloud computing solutions.
Ambani emphasized that Jio is committed to providing the most competitive pricing for additional storage beyond the free 100 GB. This initiative is part of Jio’s broader goal to make cloud data storage and AI-powered services more accessible and affordable across India.
“We will also have the most affordable prices available for those requiring even more storage,” Ambani declared, emphasizing Jio’s dedication to offering high-quality digital services.
The Jio AI-Cloud Welcome Offer is set to debut on Diwali, November 1, 2024, marking a significant advancement in Jio’s mission to make cloud computing and AI services widely available to users throughout the country.
“We are going to introduce the Jio AI-Cloud Welcome Offer on Diwali this year, offering a strong and reasonably priced solution where cloud data storage and AI services powered by data are accessible to everyone worldwide,” Ambani declared.
