Kevin Dich appointed Director of Technical Recruiting at SpaceX, leading global hiring strategy and strengthening companywide talent pipelines now
SpaceX has appointed Kevin Dich as Director, Technical Recruiting, expanding his leadership remit to oversee enterprise-wide recruiting strategy and shared services hiring across the company’s global operations. Based in Hawthorne, California, Dich will focus on strengthening the talent infrastructure that supports SpaceX’s engineering, manufacturing, corporate, and mission-critical business functions.
Dich brings more than a decade of experience at SpaceX, having progressed through senior recruiting leadership roles while helping to scale one of the aerospace industry’s most robust talent engines. Most recently, he served as Senior Manager, Technical Recruiting, where he led large-scale hiring initiatives across manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, corporate, and leadership roles to support the company’s rapid growth. Earlier roles included Manager, Technical Recruiting, as well as Lead and Senior Technical Recruiter, where he drove specialized hiring programs, enterprise recruiting campaigns, and candidate experience initiatives.
Before joining SpaceX, Dich built and modernized recruitment operations at Los Angeles Unified School District and Prudential Financial, gaining experience in scaling structured hiring frameworks across large, complex organizations.
Founded in 2002, SpaceX designs, manufactures, and launches advanced rockets and spacecraft, pioneering reusable launch systems and commercial spaceflight while pursuing its long-term goal of making life multiplanetary.
