Laura Lucia is appointed SVP, HR Strategy, Transformation & Operations at Genesys, leading global HR strategy and AI-driven people transformation.
San Francisco, California, United States, February 2026 — Laura Lucia has stepped into a new role as Senior Vice President, HR Strategy, Transformation & Operations at Genesys, marking a significant milestone in her six-year journey with the company. In this expanded leadership position, she will oversee global HR strategy, transformation initiatives, and operational excellence as Genesys continues to scale its AI-powered experience orchestration platform worldwide.
Prior to this appointment, Laura served as Vice President, Global People Operations and HR Transformation, a role she assumed after being promoted from Senior Director in 2024. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in building Genesys’ global HR infrastructure amid sustained double-digit growth. Her contributions include establishing seven core HR practice areas—such as HR Compliance & Risk, Immigration & Mobility, HR PMO, Change Management, Knowledge Management, and HR Shared Services—and leading the deployment of Workday HCM across more than 50 countries. She also reimagined the HR operating model for the AI era by integrating ServiceNow and Genesys Cloud, transforming HR into an intelligent, experience-driven function.
Beyond her responsibilities at Genesys, Laura is an active Member at Chief and a Founding Member of the Experts Council at Hacking HR, where she shares perspectives on AI, the future of work, and human-centered transformation. Earlier in her career, as Managing Partner, People Strategy at The HXS Group, she advised enterprises and high-growth organizations on HR transformation and agile operating model design. She has also served as an Adjunct Professor at California State University, Long Beach, focusing on the connection between total rewards strategy and business performance.
Laura’s previous corporate leadership experience includes serving as Regional HR Director, Latin America & People Operations at Epson America Inc., and Regional HR Head at Epson Latinoamérica. In these roles, she led multi-year HR transformations, implemented SAP SuccessFactors, and aligned people strategies with global growth objectives. She also held HR leadership positions at Microglobal Argentina SA and HP.
With this latest appointment, Laura Lucia is set to play a key role in shaping Genesys’ people strategy as the company advances its mission to deliver exceptional customer and employee experiences through AI-driven innovation.
