Marla Storm joins Verily as Chief Human Resources Officer, bringing global HR leadership experience to drive talent strategy and HR transformation.
Dallas, Texas, United States — March 2026: Marla Storm has joined Verily as its new Chief Human Resources Officer. Based in Dallas, Storm becomes part of the company’s executive leadership team, where she will lead global human resources strategy, focusing on talent alignment, HR transformation, and strengthening operating models to support the company’s growth in the healthcare technology sector.
Storm brings extensive experience in leading people strategies across large, complex global organizations. Prior to joining Verily, she served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Wood, where she oversaw HR operations for more than 35,000 employees across over 60 countries. In that role, she worked closely with the CEO and board leadership to drive HR transformation initiatives, enhance service delivery through process improvements and AI-driven HR services, and support executive compensation and reward strategies.
Before her tenure at Wood, Storm held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Balfour Beatty US. There, she led HR strategy across the company’s U.S. operations and collaborated with senior leadership on succession planning, executive compensation, and long-term talent development.
Earlier in her career, Storm spent several years at Boeing as Senior Director of Human Resources for Parts & Distribution Services and Supply Chain, supporting a global services supply chain organization with operations in multiple countries. She also held HR leadership roles for nearly a decade at McKesson, including Senior Director of Human Resources for McKesson Pharmaceutical and Corporate Functions, and led global HR support for McKesson Technology Solutions.
Storm’s earlier professional experience includes leadership roles as Human Resources Director at GlobalTec and Human Resources Manager at PDI Technologies, where she built a strong foundation in HR leadership and strategic business partnership.
