Neal Jones is set to become President, EMEA at Marriott International, bringing decades of leadership to drive growth across a diverse global region.
Marriott International has appointed Neal Jones as President, Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA), effective March 28, 2026. Based in London, Jones steps into an expanded leadership role overseeing one of the company’s most diverse and strategically important regions.
In his new position, Jones will work closely with associates, owners, franchisees, and partners to build on strong brand momentum and accelerate sustainable growth across EMEA. Commenting on the transition, he shared that his early focus will be on listening and learning across markets, engaging teams to understand what’s working well and identifying opportunities to go further together.
Jones also congratulated Satya Anand on his promotion to Group President, U.S., Canada & CALA, crediting Anand’s leadership and mentorship as instrumental in shaping both the EMEA organization and his own leadership journey. The two leaders will collaborate closely with the EMEA leadership team to ensure a smooth transition.
Jones currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at Marriott International, a role he has held for over a year, where he has driven operational excellence and supported regional and global growth priorities. Prior to that, he spent nearly five years as Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, EMEA, leading brand management, marketing, digital, sales, revenue management, loyalty, communications, and consumer insights across a portfolio spanning more than 850 hotels in 70+ countries.
Earlier in his career, Jones was Chief Sales & Marketing Officer for the Middle East and Africa, based in Dubai, where he played a key role in integrating Starwood Hotels & Resorts into Marriott following the acquisition. He joined Marriott in the mid-1990s and brings more than three decades of experience across global sales and marketing leadership roles.
Jones is an alumnus of Hotelschool The Hague, where he studied Business Administration and Management.
