At a private dinner, US President Joe Biden and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi discussed ways to “deepen and diversify” their bilateral relations. PM Modi and Mr. Biden spoke for about 50 minutes, covering topics such as cooperation in nuclear energy, artificial intelligence, and cutting-edge technologies like 6G.
The two leaders also exude optimism that the G20 Summit’s outcomes will promote their mutual objectives of promoting multilateral cooperation, advancing sustainable development, and forging agreement on inclusive economic policies to tackle the world’s most pressing problems.
After the meeting, Mr. Biden tweeted, “Today, and throughout the G20, we’ll affirm that the United States-India partnership is stronger, closer, and more dynamic than any time in history.”
According to sources within the Indian government, PM Modi expressed his gratitude for President Biden’s vision and dedication to further advancing “the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership, which is based on shared democratic values, strategic convergences, and strong people-to-people ties” during the meeting.
The two leaders also discussed a variety of local and international concerns. They concurred that the collaboration between India and the US benefited the citizens of the two nations and the entire world.
