Shares of Mamaearth are likely to be sold in bulk by Fireside today for Rs 230 crores

On December 5, Fireside Ventures would sell 61 lakh shares of the freshly listed Honasa Consumer—the parent company of Mamaearth—in a block transaction, according to CNBC Awaaz’s sources.

As of the most recent closing price, this represents 1.9 percent of the company’s value, or around Rs 230 crore.

According to sources, the offer floor price, with a maximum 4 percent discount, is between Rs 368.7 and Rs 384.1.

The deal’s broker will be Kotak Securities.

With great hoopla, Honasa Consumer debuted on the NSE last month at a price of Rs 330 per share, a meager 1.85% premium over the Rs 324 IPO issue price.

The closing price of the shares on December 4 was Rs 383.50.

Fireside Ventures is a venture capital firm that makes investments in consumer brands. It was the first Mamaearth investor to take part in the seed round.
