Google announced the new function in a blog post, saying, “Starting today, Circle to Search is rolling out on Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, and the new Samsung Galaxy S24 series.” You may now search anything with a simple action, such as circling, highlighting, sketching, or touching, without having to switch apps.”

To enable Circle to Search in any app, users must first long press the home button or menu bar on their Pixel or Samsung device, then use their chosen gesture to highlight the searchable part.
