Apple Watch wearers may now use the popular AI chatbot ChatGPT, much to their joy.
Apple Watch users may now access ChatGPT, the celebrated OpenAI AI chatbot, using the dedicated WatchGPT app. Users who download the US $3.99 (about Rs. 328) app from the App Store may connect with ChatGPT directly from their watch screen. Also, users may utilize the app to instantly share their WatchGPT remarks via social media, emails, and texts from their Apple Watch. The software’s description on the App Store highlights the ease of use and compatibility with the Apple Watch. Users may now use WatchGPT to tap their wrists to initiate a ChatGPT conversation whenever they want, from any location.
Hidde van der Ploeg, the software’s author, tweeted that WatchGPT is now available on the App Store worldwide, including in India. Users can use the app to chat with ChatGPT on their watch screen and share their responses via SMS, email, and social media. Nevertheless, it needs smartphones running iOS 13.0 or later, and the download size is 2.6MB.
Apple Watch users may now automatically receive faster responses and longer-produced messages, according to a 9to5Mac report. The WatchGPT app is available for download in English, Dutch, French, and Spanish through the Apple App Store.
The developer of WatchGPT has also revealed upcoming updates to the software, including the option to use a private API key, access history, and the standard ability to support vocal input. The app will also allow replies to be read aloud by the app itself to enhance the user experience.
In the interim, Apple has made significant strides in creating blood glucose monitoring technology for the upcoming iterations of the Apple Watch. The device uses silicon photonics, a customized chip, and optical absorption spectroscopy to emit light at specific wavelengths. This technology eliminates the need for a needle to draw blood samples while accurately detecting a user’s blood glucose levels.
