Larissa Murmann joins Werfen as Vice President Global Commercial People Function, driving people strategy and commercial growth.
Werfen, a global leader in specialized diagnostics, has announced the appointment of Larissa Murmann as Vice President, Global Commercial People Function, effective January 2026. In this role, Murmann will work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer and the global commercial leadership team to shape and execute the people strategy for Werfen’s commercial organization worldwide.
Murmann brings more than 15 years of global human resources leadership experience across people strategy, culture transformation, organizational effectiveness, and digital enablement. Her appointment underscores Werfen’s focus on building a high-performance, innovation-driven culture that supports sustainable commercial growth.
Most recently, Murmann spent several years at Unilever International in Singapore, where she served as Digital Chief HR Officer and later as Chief HR Officer. In these roles, she partnered with senior business leaders and led people strategy across talent, capabilities, culture, and operations for a large, multi-market digital growth unit.
Earlier in her career, Murmann held senior HR leadership roles across Latin America with Unilever, including HR Director for North Latin America overseeing portfolios spanning Ice Cream, Finance, and Food Solutions. She led large-scale workforce and operating model transformations, capability-building initiatives, and complex employee relations efforts across diverse, multi-country teams.
She has also held regional and functional HR business partnering roles across finance, technology, legal, and supply chain, developing deep expertise in workforce planning, organizational design, digital transformation support, talent processes, and leadership development. Across these assignments, Murmann has built a strong track record of aligning people strategy with rapidly evolving business priorities and embedding scalable, future-ready people processes throughout the employee lifecycle.
In addition to her corporate leadership experience, Murmann has served as CEO of InfinAIte Frequency, reflecting her interest in the intersection of artificial intelligence, leadership capability, and organizational transformation.
