Susan Toadvine joins Orlando Health as CHRO, Midwest Region, bringing HR leadership experience from Publix and PEFCU.
Orlando, Florida, United States – May 2026: Susan Toadvine has been appointed Chief Human Resources Officer, Midwest Region at Orlando Health, where she will lead HR strategy and workforce initiatives supporting the organization’s expanding healthcare operations across the Midwest.
Toadvine brings extensive leadership experience across human resources, talent acquisition, organizational culture, employee engagement, and workforce development, with a strong focus on employee-centered transformation and people strategy.
Before joining Orlando Health, she served as Vice President, People and Culture at Publix Employees Federal Credit Union, where she led organizational culture initiatives, employee engagement programs, and people strategy during a period of transformation and growth.
Prior to that, Toadvine spent nearly 15 years with Publix Super Markets as Director of Associate Relations and Talent Acquisition. During her tenure, she played a significant role in workforce engagement, leadership development, employee relations, and talent acquisition initiatives for one of the largest employee-owned supermarket chains in the United States.
Her broad experience across talent management, organizational culture, and leadership development positions her to support Orlando Health’s continued regional growth and workforce transformation efforts.
Toadvine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from Florida Southern College and an MBA in Human Resources from Saint Leo University.
