Heather learned and appreciated the complexity of integrating conservation concerns with sustainable tourism and community development in a remote oceanic archipelago during her four years in the Galapagos with her husband, Marc Patry. Heather and Marc’s first trip was a private Galapagos charter for a small group of friends from all around the world. The company evolved organically from there, thanks to word of mouth.
Expedition to People’s Hearts
CNH Tours has maintained a strong connection to Galapagos through Heather’s invitation to become Trip Advisor’s one and only Galapagos Destination Expert.
Heather took over management of CNH Tours in the fall of 2003. Her husband, Marc Patry, rejoined her in 2015. It was a little firm, with only 25 guests every year, and she ran it all from the hallway of her Paris flat, with two young children at her feet. Heather’s business skills grew as the company progressed.
Heather has established an international team to accompany the guests through each stage of their journey with CNH Tours, all of whom share their enthusiasm for cultivating a worry-free “mind trip,” one in which the experience is designed to nurture all of your senses.
