YouTube Create, an AI-powered video editor, was launched by YouTube

YouTube Create, Bard’s generative AI, and the battle for AI supremacy are all part of Google’s AI revolution. Discover Google’s approach to dominating competitors in the field of AI.

YouTube, owned by Google, recently announced the release of YouTube Create, a new AI-powered video editing program enabling anyone to make and share videos on its platform.

According to the company’s blog post, YouTube Create will have capabilities including transitions, automatic voiceover, captioning, and precise editing and trimming. A brand-new tool called “Dream Screen” would also start to be tested, allowing users to add an AI-generated film or image to their videos by simply putting an idea in the chat box. For instance, users may enter “I want to be in Paris,” the software would insert a lifelike video or image of them in the French city.

Additionally, based on popular themes and viewer preferences, the app will have a generative AI component that will assist users in creating topic ideas and video scripts. It will also have an AI-powered music suggestion function that allows users to input a written video description and have the app pick an audio track to utilize. According to YouTube, users can also have their films automatically subtitled in other languages.

According to the company, the new software is designed to make video production simpler and more accessible for everyone, particularly first-time creators.

“We want to make it easier for everyone to feel like they can create, and we believe generative AI will make that possible,” said YouTube chief Neal Mohan.

YouTube Create will face competition from apps like TikTok and Instagram from Meta, popular among young users who make quick films or reels. In a few nations, the app is in beta testing. It will first be available to users in India, the US, the UK, Germany, France, Indonesia, Singapore, and Korea.

A Foray into Generative AI by Google

Google’s most recent effort to establish itself in the AI market is YouTube’s new AI-powered tool, Create. To compete with OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Google enhanced Bard, its AI assistant, with generative AI and machine learning capabilities last week. Google wants to incorporate AI into every aspect of its product lineup, not just chatbots. Using user feedback from all of its offerings to train its AI, Google may outperform its competitors utilizing this technique.
