InCred Capital is accelerating its institutional equities expansion with experienced market leaders, technology investments and a new US business, targeting multi-fold growth in market share over the next five years.
InCred Capital, the financial services arm of the InCred Group, has strengthened its leadership team by appointing Abhinav Khanna as Chief Executive Officer of Capital Markets and Abhimanyu Kalra as Managing Director and Co-Head of Equities. The appointments reflect the company’s growing ambition to expand its institutional equities business and strengthen its position in India’s increasingly competitive financial markets.
Announced on October 12, 2026, the leadership changes come as the firm seeks to capitalise on rising domestic institutional investments, expanding equity markets and growing participation from global investors.
Experienced Leaders to Drive Capital Markets Growth
Khanna brings more than 25 years of experience across institutional equities, capital markets and investment management in India, the United Kingdom and the Middle East. Before joining InCred Capital, he served as Managing Director and Chief Business Officer for Global Equities at ValueQuest Investment Advisors, where he was responsible for international business strategy and growth initiatives.
Earlier, he spent over a decade at Citigroup Global Markets, holding senior positions that included Managing Director and Head of Equities for India. His extensive industry experience and institutional relationships are expected to support InCred Capital’s expansion plans.
Kalra brings more than 23 years of experience in equity markets, including an 18-year tenure at Nomura. During his career, he developed relationships with domestic and international asset managers, bringing valuable market expertise to the company’s institutional equities operations.
Technology Investments and Global Expansion
Beyond leadership appointments, InCred Capital is investing in technology and trading infrastructure to strengthen its institutional services. Its focus areas include order management systems, research distribution, institutional sales and trading, block execution and algorithmic trading.
These investments are intended to enhance execution capabilities and support institutional clients, including mutual funds, insurance companies, pension funds, foreign portfolio investors, global long-only investors and hedge funds.
The company has also launched its US business under Arunava Das, who has taken charge as CEO of InCred Capital USA. Das previously led JM Financial’s North American business and held senior positions at JPMorgan Chase and Edelweiss Capital. The move marks another step in InCred Capital’s strategy to expand its international presence and build stronger connections with overseas investors.
InCred Capital Sets Ambitious Five-Year Target
InCred Group Founder and Group CEO Bhupinder Singh has outlined an ambitious objective: increasing the company’s share of India’s institutional equities market multiple times over the next five years.
The strategy comes amid growing opportunities in equity fundraising, initial public offerings, block trades and institutional investment activity. By combining experienced leadership, stronger technology infrastructure and international expansion, InCred Capital aims to build a leading institutional equities franchise.
As competition intensifies across financial services, the company’s next phase of growth will depend on its ability to deliver differentiated research, efficient trade execution and strong client relationships. Its latest appointments signal a determined push to establish a larger presence in India’s capital markets while extending its reach to global investors.
