San Jose, California, United States – May 2026: Antonio Lucio has been appointed Chief Marketing & Corporate Affairs Officer at PayPal, where he will lead the company’s global brand, marketing strategy, and corporate affairs initiatives as it expands its role in digital commerce and financial ecosystems.
Lucio brings decades of leadership experience spanning marketing transformation, corporate communications, and business strategy. He joins PayPal from HP Inc., where he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing & Corporate Affairs Officer, driving global marketing transformation and strengthening brand equity.
Previously, he was Global Chief Marketing Officer at Meta, overseeing consumer marketing for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and WhatsApp, while shaping the company’s corporate brand strategy.
His earlier tenure at Visa included multiple senior leadership roles, where he played a key role in elevating the brand’s global positioning and integrated marketing approach.
Lucio’s career also includes senior roles at PepsiCo and Kraft Foods Group, along with foundational experience at Procter & Gamble. Beyond corporate leadership, he contributes to diversity and leadership initiatives through 5S Diversity and serves as an Executive Fellow at the Yale School of Management.
