Karina Hernandez joins Associated Materials as CHRO, bringing HR leadership experience from OmniMax, Eaton, and L3Harris.
Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, United States – May 2026: Karina Hernandez has been appointed Chief Human Resources Officer at Associated Materials, bringing extensive leadership experience across manufacturing, industrial infrastructure, aerospace, defense, telecommunications, and global operations.
In her new role, Hernandez will oversee the company’s HR strategy, organizational development, workforce transformation, leadership capability, employee engagement, talent management, and culture initiatives as Associated Materials continues its innovation-driven growth across North America.
Before joining Associated Materials, Hernandez served as Chief Human Resources Officer at OmniMax, where she led enterprise HR initiatives focused on strengthening talent systems, leadership effectiveness, and organizational performance.
Prior to OmniMax, she was Vice President Human Resources at Eaton, leading HR initiatives across North America for the company’s Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions division and supporting strategic growth and workforce capability programs.
Earlier in her career, Hernandez held senior HR leadership positions at L3Harris Technologies and Harris Corporation, where she gained deep expertise in aerospace, defense, organizational transformation, and advanced technology operations.
She also served in strategic HR leadership roles at Verizon Enterprise Solutions and held multiple HR transformation and leadership positions at Honeywell.
Hernandez began her professional career at Michigan State University, where she worked in personnel and budget leadership roles, building a strong operational foundation for her executive HR career.
