In a world where healthcare often feels rushed, transactional, and impersonal, Erika Jordan stands as the rare leader reshaping what healing looks and feels like. As the Founder and Hyperbaric Director of Hyperbaric Healing Treatment Center (Orlando, Florida, USA), she has built a sanctuary where science, safety, and compassion converge—offering hospital-grade hyperbaric oxygen therapy in a warm, patient-first environment. Driven by resilience and inspired by her daughters, Erika’s journey is a testament to how one woman’s unwavering purpose can elevate an entire industry and restore hope for patients who thought they had none.
Education That Built a Clinical Leader
Armed with credentials as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (DMS), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), and Certified Hyperbaric Specialist (CHS), Erika Jordan blends scientific knowledge with a human-centered approach.
Erika’s foundation in DMS gave her a deep understanding of the human body—how it functions in both normal and abnormal states. It shaped her diagnostic mindset, precision, and clinical decision-making, guiding her commitment to a patient-centered approach in hyperbaric medicine.
Her experience as an EMT and CHS further strengthened her ability to merge safety, clinical care, and advanced technology to achieve optimal outcomes. These experiences taught her to balance science with empathy—skills essential for both patient care and leadership.
As the Founder and Hyperbaric Director of Hyperbaric Healing Treatment Center, a growing multi-location private network specializing in advanced hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), her professional background blends clinical expertise, leadership, operational rigor, and heartfelt dedication to patient care. She applies this clinical insight to every operational decision, ensuring each center upholds the highest standards in hyperbaric safety and care.
Inspiration Rooted in Motherhood and Healing
The greatest influences in Erika’s life are her daughters, Ella and Eva, who remind her daily why compassion, integrity, and perseverance matter. Motherhood strengthened her drive to create a safer, more patient-centered medical environment—one built on integrity, empathy, and education.
Professionally, her patients, too, have left a profound mark. Witnessing individuals with complex medical conditions—many told there were no options left—experience real healing through hyperbaric therapy reaffirmed her mission: to restore hope and healing through science and compassion.
Discovering Purpose in Hyperbaric Medicine
Erika’s path toward hyperbaric medicine began in the private sector, where she gained over seven years of experience before transitioning into the hospital environment. Experiencing and seeing both sides of the field gave her an invaluable perspective. While hospitals provided structure, she also witnessed how systemic limitations, lack of access, or insurance restrictions kept many patients from receiving critical care.
“The pivotal moment came when I realized that accessibility and compassion were missing from much of the field. That realization inspired me to open my first private hyperbaric clinic in Orlando in 2018, built on a mission to combine hospital-grade standards with a deeply personal, patient-first approach,” recalls Erika.
A Mission That Became a Movement
Hyperbaric Healing Treatment Center was built on a simple but transformative concept: hospital-grade hyperbaric care delivered in a private, patient-focused environment.
“When I founded the center in 2018, my mission was to make HBOT accessible, comfortable, and educational for every patient. Over time, that mission has evolved into a larger vision—to establish new safety and operational benchmarks across the private hyperbaric sector,” says Erika.
“With locations now in Orlando and New Smyrna Beach, and a third under construction in Leesburg, we are creating a sustainable model of excellence that can be replicated nationwide,” she added.
Overcoming Early Challenges Through Standards and Integrity
The greatest challenge was proving that a private hyperbaric center could uphold—and even surpass—the standards of hospital-based programs. Skepticism was high, but so was her determination. Erika’s resolve remained stronger than the challenges she faced.
She leaned on transparency, compliance, and education—partnering with Sechrist Industries, following every NFPA and CMS regulation, and implementing strict internal safety documentation and weekly testing. Over time, each inspection, patient review, and safety audit validated what Erika always believed: excellence speaks for itself.
Services That Elevate Safety and Care
Hyperbaric Healing Treatment Center provides monoplace hyperbaric oxygen therapy using advanced Sechrist chambers, offering treatment for both approved and specialized off-label indications. Each facility is designed to exceed safety standards, featuring onsite safety directors, continuous camera monitoring, AEDs, weekly chamber testing, and medical professionals highly trained in Hyperbaric operations.
“We take great pride in maintaining above-par safety and compliance procedures, which recently earned recognition from Sechrist Industries. This year, Sechrist requested permission to use one of my safety training videos as part of their educational resources —an honor that reflects our shared commitment to excellence and ongoing collaboration in advancing private-sector standards,” asserts Erika.
Looking ahead, Erika is focused on developing more educational materials and best-practice standards to elevate safety and operational integrity across the entire private hyperbaric medicine sector.
A Leader Defined by Resilience
In every step of her journey, she embodies resilience, leadership, and an unwavering mission. Her life as a mother, wife, clinical professional, and healthcare entrepreneur has been shaped by perseverance—balancing compassion with precision and navigating triumphs and challenges with purpose.
Responsibilities Rooted in Leadership and Mentorship
“My responsibilities extend beyond clinical leadership. I oversee all operations, compliance, expansion projects, and team development—but my most rewarding role is mentorship. I aim to empower every team member to grow in confidence, knowledge, and compassion,” assures Erika.
“As a woman entrepreneur in healthcare, I also see it as my duty to model authenticity and resilience—to show that you can lead with empathy, raise a family, and still build something that transforms lives,” she added.
Finding Balance Through Gratitude and Nature
For Erika, balance comes from gratitude and firm boundaries. Her daughters keep her grounded, often accompanying her to the clinic or community events and reminding her of the purpose driving her work.
“Outside of the clinic, I recharge through fishing, where I find peace and perspective. Those moments remind me that patience, persistence, and preparation bring the best results—on the water and in leadership alike,” says Erika.
The Future: Expansion, Education, and Industry Transformation
Over the next two years, Hyperbaric Healing Treatment Center will continue its expansion, elevating awareness and strengthening safety standards in private hyperbaric medicine.
“My role will focus on advancing education, strengthening industry collaborations, and advocating for consistency in private-sector safety protocols. My goal is to make independent hyperbaric centers synonymous with excellence, transparency, and patient trust,” assures Erika.

Beyond clinic walls, Erika is a steadfast advocate for her community, serving for seven consecutive years as Operations Chair for the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer (MSABC) Orlando Walk, leading logistics, safety, and vendor coordination for one of Central Florida’s largest philanthropic events.
