Myntra strengthens its leadership team with an experienced strategy professional, bringing expertise across InMobi, SoftBank, Walmart India and Bain & Company to advance long-term business planning and data-driven decision-making.
Myntra, one of India’s leading fashion, beauty and lifestyle e-commerce platforms, has appointed Sruti Ravi as Vice President and Head of Strategy & Business Insights, reinforcing its focus on strategic growth, business intelligence and the development of new opportunities in the rapidly evolving online retail market.
Announced on October 16, 2026, the appointment brings more than 15 years of cross-industry experience to Myntra’s leadership team. Ravi has worked across consumer and technology businesses, with a professional background spanning corporate strategy, investments, strategic partnerships, operations and business growth.
In her new position, Ravi will help shape Myntra’s long-term strategic direction, identify and develop emerging business opportunities, and strengthen the company’s business insights capabilities. Her role is expected to support more informed decision-making by connecting market intelligence, business priorities and growth planning.
The appointment comes as digital commerce companies continue to adapt to changing consumer preferences, intensifying competition and evolving expectations around personalised shopping experiences. For Myntra, strengthening strategic planning and analytical capabilities will remain important as it works to sustain growth and respond to new opportunities across the fashion and lifestyle ecosystem.
Sruti Ravi Brings Extensive Experience Across Technology and Retail
Before joining Myntra, Ravi served as Vice President of Strategy at InMobi, a global technology and advertising company. Her responsibilities included strategic planning, business operations and global strategic partnerships, alongside working closely with the founders. This experience gave her exposure to business growth, organisational priorities and partnerships across a technology-driven environment.
Her professional journey also includes senior leadership positions at SoftBank. At SoftBank Investment Advisers, she worked as Vice President in the Operating Group, while her earlier role at SoftBank Group International involved corporate development and investments. These positions added investment analysis, business development and portfolio-related experience to her leadership background.
Ravi also brings experience from Walmart India, where she served as General Manager of Strategy and the Programme Management Office. The role offered exposure to strategic execution and programme management within a large retail organisation, providing valuable perspective on the relationship between business planning and operational performance.
Earlier in her career, she worked at Bain & Company, gaining management consulting experience, and began her professional journey at Nomura Structured Financial Services in quantitative equity research and index products.
This combination of consulting, investment, technology and retail experience gives Ravi a broad understanding of how businesses evaluate opportunities, develop growth strategies and translate strategic priorities into execution.
Strengthening Myntra’s Strategy and Business Intelligence
Ravi’s appointment places strategy and business insights at the centre of her responsibilities. As online fashion retail becomes increasingly competitive, companies must understand consumer behaviour, evaluate market trends and make decisions that balance immediate business requirements with long-term objectives.
Business insights can help e-commerce platforms identify emerging demand patterns, assess category performance, evaluate customer preferences and recognise potential growth opportunities. When integrated with corporate strategy, these insights can also support resource allocation, business planning and the evaluation of new initiatives.
At Myntra, Ravi will focus on shaping long-term strategy, exploring new business opportunities and strengthening the capabilities that support data-driven decisions. Her experience across consumer technology, retail and investments could provide a cross-functional perspective as the company evaluates its strategic priorities.
The role also includes scope for incubating new business initiatives, particularly opportunities that can be developed from an early stage and potentially become new growth areas for the platform.
Academic Background and Professional Expertise
Ravi holds a postgraduate diploma in management from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, where she secured the institute’s third rank. She also earned a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli.
Her educational background, combined with experience across management consulting, corporate investments, retail and technology, has shaped a career spanning analytical problem-solving and strategic business leadership.
A Strategic Addition to Myntra’s Leadership
Myntra’s appointment of Sruti Ravi reflects the growing importance of strategic leadership and business intelligence in the e-commerce industry. As digital retail evolves, companies increasingly need leaders who can combine market understanding, analytical thinking, and operational experience to identify sustainable growth opportunities.
With Ravi taking charge of Strategy & Business Insights, Myntra is adding a leader whose experience spans several interconnected areas of the modern business landscape. Her work will focus on strengthening long-term planning, exploring new opportunities and enabling decisions grounded in business insights as the platform continues to develop its position in India’s fashion and lifestyle market.
