Shanghai, China — October 2026: Haleon has appointed Lico Qiu as Director of Talent Acquisition – Greater China & Hong Kong, bringing more than two decades of experience across talent acquisition, executive search, HR business partnering, diversity and inclusion, workplace culture, and regional people leadership.
Qiu brings a combination of global talent management and regional recruitment expertise, having held leadership positions across the consumer health, manufacturing, and agricultural sectors. Her experience spans talent strategy, inclusive workplace initiatives, organizational culture, and leadership hiring across Asia and Greater China.
In her new role, Qiu will lead talent acquisition across Greater China and Hong Kong, contributing her regional expertise to Haleon’s recruitment priorities and broader people agenda.
Global Talent and Culture Leadership at Joyson Safety Systems
Before joining Haleon, Qiu served as Global Talent & Culture Director at Joyson Safety Systems, where she contributed to the company’s global talent and culture agenda.
Her responsibilities in this role built on her experience in talent management and organizational culture, with a focus on aligning people initiatives with business priorities across an international organization.
Regional and Global Experience at dsm-firmenich
Qiu spent more than six years at dsm-firmenich, holding several leadership positions across talent acquisition, people solutions, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I).
Her roles included Global DEI & Inclusive Workplace Lead, Regional TA Head, People Solution Demand & Resources Lead, DE&I Champion – Greater China, and Regional Talent Acquisition Head – Asia.
Through these positions, Qiu developed experience in regional recruitment strategy, inclusive workplace initiatives, and people resource planning. Her work across regional and global functions also broadened her understanding of talent priorities across different markets and organizational environments.

Before joining dsm-firmenich, Qiu spent four years at PPG as Talent Attraction Lead and a member of the Culture Core Committee at the company’s Asia-Pacific headquarters.
Her work focused on talent attraction and culture initiatives across the region, adding to her experience in employer engagement and recruitment strategy. The role also complemented her broader background in connecting talent acquisition with organizational culture.

Qiu spent five years at Syngenta, where she held positions including HR Business Partner, HR Projects Project Manager, and China Recruitment Manager.

Earlier in her career, Qiu worked as a Senior Consultant – Executive Search at Manpower Staffing, developing expertise in executive recruitment and talent sourcing.
