Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States, February 2026 — Verus Mortgage Capital has appointed Sarah Worzala as Vice President – People & Culture, expanding her leadership responsibilities as she steps into a broader role shaping the company’s people strategy and organizational culture.
Previously serving as Human Resources Business Partner at Verus, Worzala has been instrumental in partnering with senior leaders to enhance workforce planning, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness. Her promotion reflects her strong contributions and deep alignment with the company’s business and cultural priorities.
Before joining Verus, Worzala spent more than five years at OJO, where she advanced through multiple HR leadership roles, including Senior Human Resources Business Partner and Manager, Learning & Diversity. During her tenure, she led initiatives spanning employee benefits, change management, engagement programs, and diversity and learning strategies, supporting scalable people operations in a high-growth environment.
Earlier in her career, she held senior HR roles at Bellacor and Newscycle Solutions, gaining experience in HRIS management, succession planning, performance management, and payroll operations across multiple geographies. Her professional foundation also includes roles at Kelly Services, Target, and USGS-National Wildlife Health Center.
With this appointment, Worzala is set to lead Verus Mortgage Capital’s people and culture initiatives as the company continues to strengthen its organizational capabilities and long-term growth strategy.
