United States — October 2026: CGI has appointed Stephanie Mango as Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, creating a new leadership position within the global IT and business consulting services firm. Mango becomes the company’s first Chief Administrative Officer, with responsibility for transforming corporate operations to support growth, improve efficiency, and strengthen organizational effectiveness.
Her mandate includes modernizing processes, improving ways of working, and advancing enterprise systems, including the secure integration of artificial intelligence (AI). The appointment reflects CGI’s focus on streamlining internal operations and enabling teams to concentrate on client service, delivery, and profitable growth.
Leadership Experience at CGI Federal
Before her appointment, Mango served as President of CGI Federal, the company’s wholly owned U.S. operating subsidiary. In that role, she led an organization serving civilian, defense, and intelligence clients across the U.S. federal government.
She held the position for more than five years, following earlier leadership roles as Senior Vice President and Vice President within CGI. Her experience at CGI Federal provided extensive exposure to the operational and technology requirements of government clients, as well as the management of complex service delivery organizations.
More Than Two Decades at CGI
Across more than 20 years with CGI, Mango has developed experience spanning operational leadership, technology-enabled transformation, consulting, and enterprise solutions.
In her new role, she leads Global IT, Global Business Services, and Engagement Assessment Services. She also joins CGI’s Executive Committee and Global Operations Management Committee, placing her within the company’s senior leadership structure.
Her responsibilities center on strengthening corporate operations and ensuring that enterprise processes, technology systems, and internal services effectively support CGI’s business priorities. The secure adoption of AI is also part of this mandate, as organizations increasingly seek ways to improve productivity while maintaining appropriate safeguards and operational controls.
Focus on Operational Excellence and Enterprise Transformation
As Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, Mango will focus on reimagining how CGI manages its corporate operations. Her priorities include improving efficiency and effectiveness across business processes, simplifying ways of working, and strengthening enterprise systems.
The role brings together several operational functions under a unified leadership mandate, with the aim of improving coordination and enabling the business to respond effectively to changing client needs.
Mango’s experience leading CGI Federal and holding senior positions across the company provides a foundation for this expanded responsibility. Her background combines operational management with an understanding of the technology and services required to support large, complex organizations.
Early Career in Consulting
Before joining CGI, Mango worked as a Consultant at AMS, where she gained experience in consulting and enterprise-focused work.
She subsequently built her career at CGI, taking on increasingly senior responsibilities across the organization. Her progression from Vice President and Senior Vice President to President of CGI Federal, and now Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, reflects an expanding remit across operational leadership and corporate transformation.
