Genesys International Corporation has appointed technology veteran Dhiman Basu Ray as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO), strengthening the company’s leadership as it expands from high-precision mapping and Digital Twins toward an AI-driven Spatial Intelligence platform.
With around 26 years of experience spanning artificial intelligence and machine learning, robotics, digital engineering, cloud and data platforms, cybersecurity, and digital transformation, Basu Ray is set to play a pivotal role in shaping Genesys International’s next phase of technology development.
Before joining Genesys International, Basu Ray served as Global Chief Technology Officer, Digital Engineering, at Tech Mahindra, where he led large-scale technology, engineering, and transformation initiatives.
From Mapping the World to Making It Computable
The appointment comes at a significant juncture for Genesys International as the company seeks to redefine the role of geospatial technology in an increasingly AI-led world.
Genesys believes that conventional mapping is evolving into a much broader Spatial Intelligence layer – one capable of helping governments, businesses and intelligent machines understand, interpret and make decisions about the physical environment.
